Corrocoat expands sales team

Corrocoat continues the expansion of its UK-based sales force with the appointment of Tony Aitken, who joins the team as Regional Sales Manager for the North West of the country, with special responsibility for sales and customer support in this area.

Tony (44) brings to Corrocoat an extensive background in technical sales. He began his career with a 4 year engineering apprenticeship, completing an ONC in mechanical engineering. His experience includes work as a detail draughtsman and time spent in internal sales before moving to field sales in 1988.

He joins Corrocoat from THK UK Ltd, where he worked as a regional sales engineer, with responsibilities including sales, business development, the provision of fast, detailed and accurate solutions to meet customer requirements.

As regional sales manager for the North West, he will focus on providing technical sales advice for customers in industries as varied as offshore, power generation, petrochemicals and water treatment.

Corrocoat's Sales and Marketing Manager, Peter Hardman, stressed the importance to the sales team of Tony's engineering background and wide experience in the sales field. "Tony's significant experience in related fields and in-depth knowledge of the market are already proving invaluable assets to the Corrocoat team" he stated.

Tony, who lives in Stockport, lists personal fitness, walking and golf as his interest and activities.
