Degussa, a multinational corporation and market leader in specialty chemistry, has appointed Cornelius to become exclusive UK distributors of organofunctional silanes for industrial markets.
One of Germany's largest chemical companies and the world's market leader in specialty chemistry, Degussa provides customised products and system solutions that make an important contribution to a number of everyday products. The Aerosil and Silanes Department of Degussa, for which Cornelius will be exclusive distributors of some products, amalgamates intelligent solutions for surface modification and the improvement of the physical properties of many products. Products distributed exclusively by Cornelius can be used in a number of various applications including adhesives and sealants, composites or as additives in paints and lacquers.
