SSPC reorganizes marketing and member services departments
The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), Pittsburgh, a non-profit association that is focused on the protection and preservation of concrete, steel, and other industrial and marine structures and surfaces through the use of high-performance industrial coatings, announces a reorganization of its marketing and member services departments, as well as the addition of new staff.
Previously, marketing and member services overlapped in terms of their functions and staffs. The two departments have now been realigned into discrete groups, each with their own teams. Michael Kline, recently promoted to Director of Marketing, heads the Marketing Department. Ms Terry Sowers has been named Director of Member Services.
Recently hired into the Marketing Department are Bruce Rosen, certification sales specialist, and David Salsbury, marketing specialist. Newly hired into the Member Services Department is Mark Dukovich.
According to SSPC Executive Director William Shoup: “We recognized a need to more aggressively promote SSPC within the coatings industry. At the same time, we wanted to improve the delivery of services to our members. The best way to achieve both of these goals was through the realignment of the marketing and member services departments.”
