Instron's Model 3382 R&N 100 kN metals testing package is designed for high-capacity metals testing and is available for less than $50,000. The R&N metals package is ideal for “pass/fail” testing, as well as more sophisticated materials characterization. This packaged system comes equipped with everything needed to start testing: a PC, Instron's Series IX/s software grips and a transverse and axial extensometer required to obtain R-value data for sheet steel.
The 3380 Series Floor Model systems are ideal for tension and/or compression applications for tests up 250 kN (56,200lbf). The 3380 Series Floor Model systems provide simplicity, reliability, and affordability for heavy duty quality control and product testing (Plate 3).
