Heavy duty slides from JET PRESS

Industrial components provider JET PRESS has widened its range of off-the-shelf access systems by stocking a new heavy-duty ball bearing slide which offers twice the load capacity of its current products.
The company, based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, UK, has set its sights on offering its rapid response service, backed by full technical support, to the military, transport and heavy industry sectors by stocking DA4120 drawer slides manufactured by Accuride (Figure 1).
Drawer slides allow easy-reach access to items held in storage space and the DA4120, which can bear loads of up to 438 kg – significantly improving upon the 227 kg maximum load-bearing performance of other slides stocked by JET PRESS – is ideal for heavy equipment on large vehicles and in manufacturing environments.
The DA4120 has a 75 per cent extension and is made in light, corrosion-resistant aluminium with stainless steel ball retainers and ball bearings. This means it will always move smoothly, making it perfect for industrial environments where other metals might be subject to rust, such as shipbuilding and the railway industry.
JET PRESS is stocking DA4120s in 9 lengths, ranging from 400 to 1200 mm, and can supply them at short notice in quantities from a single slide to 1,000.
