Engineering institutions launch aerospace partnership

Three of the UK's leading engineering organisations have launched a joint "Aerospace Partnership" to provide a range of activities and services specifically for professionals and leaders in the aerospace community.

The new Partnership has been developed by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Electrical Engineers (lEE). Its aims are to harmonise the skills and strengths of the three institutions, to provide a coordinated programme of activities for the aerospace community and, where possible, to provide a common voice on aerospace topics.

The Aerospace Partnership will encompass such activities as conferences, lectures, courses, information services, publication and public affairs. It is being administered by the Royal Aeronautical Society, Tel: +44 (0)171 499 3515.
