TIP solder flume extractor

Continuing its work on keeping the workplace and the surrounding environment free from fumes, smoke and gases, Nederman has introduced the TX 2000 tip solder fume extraction system.

This new extractor is powered by compressed air and is said to be economical to run. The unit has been designed for individual workstations which keeps the costs down since most soldering fume extractors are designed to serve several soldering stations. However, a kit can be supplied for the connection of two soldering irons.

In operation, soldering fumes are drawn directly into the nozzle on the soldering iron and conveyed to the unit where they are cleaned in a three-stage filter.

The equipment is compact and the operating noise level very low. Air is recirculated and its flow is infinitely adjustable.
