Now available for hire from Express Instrument Hire, the new Inframetrics ThermaCAM™ infra-red Focal Plant Array (FPA) camera is the smallest and lightest FPA camera available.

The size of a camcorder and only a quarter of the weight of alternative equipment, the Inframetrics ThermaCAM™ is fully portable and easy to use and requires only a standard camcorder battery) for up to four hours use.

Able to detect differences in temperature of 1Ž2šC on temperatures up to 450°C, the Inframetrics ThermaCAM™ is said to be ideal for

both preventative maintenance and trouble shooting. A High Range model is also available, capable of dealing with temperatures of up to 1,500°C.

The Inframetrics ThermaCAM^TM is now available for rental from Express Instrument Hire

The camera has excellent colour resolution and a 12 colour pallet. The digital storage card stores images in its memory or, hired with Inframetrics Windows Software, images can be saved to your own computer. With optional portable colour notebook PC and colour printer, reports can be produced on site.

Hire costs are no more than those of larger, bulkier models and hire is available to any location in the UK. The Inframetrics ThermaCAM™ can also be hired complete with a skilled operator who will conduct an on site survey.
