Kydex thermoplastic sheet has been chosen for the refit of a range of Russian aircraft as part of an ongoing contract between Comco Plastics and Bristol-based aircraft furnishings specialists Diamonite.
The projects have involved varying quantities of 6565 aircraft grade Kydex sheet from the Slough branch of Comco for thermoforming ceiling panels, seat fairings and toilet and vanity shrouds.
The Russian aircraft are all commercial Tupolev 134, 154 and 204 models, some of which operate for public sector airline fleets while others are privately owned.
