Dunlop Equipment has issued a two-page colour leaflet which outlines its product range designed and manufactured in Coventry, England.

Pointing out that the company is recognised within the aerospace industry as a supplier of specialised accessories with decades of pedigree the copy explains that there has been a large investment in new machinery, development and training resources.

Bleed and solenoid valves designed and developed by Dunlop Equipment to meet the requirements of particular applications are resistant to all forms of contamination. Dunlop Equipment makes use of Retimet, a proprietary material, to manufacture centrifugal devices to separate air/oil mixtures in gas turbine engines.

Pneumatic, anti-icing, non-return and stick pusher valves are among other proven designs which also include moving body servo actuators, rudder bias and disconnect struts.

Engineering is organised into project teams which are able to make use of facilities including CAE tools for design, stress and dynamic analysis. Manufacturing is highly controlled with electronic tool pre-setting directly linked to CNC machines and other computer controlled measuring equipment used to verify product conformance.
