Synchro/resolver computer boards

Synchro/resolver computer boards

Inertial Aerosystems Ltd have introduced three new, innovative VXI/VME boards for the measurement and simulation of synchros/resolvers.

The VXI 5395 synchro/resolver module contains all the necessary functions to fully evaluate, calibrate and simulate almost any conceivable synchro/resolver component and system. It incorporates two independent channels of measurement and simulation, is fully programmable and with a measuring resolution of 0.0001°.

The 6112 is an advanced single slot VME design providing 12 single speed or six multi-speed synchro/resolver to digital channels with 5VA reference generator. Maximum resolution in dual-speed mode is 23 bits, and maximum tracking rates of 1,152 RPS can be accommodated with programmable 10, 12, 14 and 16 bit resolution.

The 5410C-588 is a VME card providing 32 opto-isolated, high current (2 amps @ 85°C continuous), switched outputs with diagnostics and fault protection.

These high performance products have applications in defence/aerospace, robotics, drives, process automation and control and manufacturing industries.
