Spectrum Technologies plc ("Spectrum") has won orders for its award winning CAPRIS 100 and CAPRIS 50 ultraviolet laser wire marking and processing systems totalling over US$2 million.

Following the recent announcement of major contracts to supply both the US Navy and Air Force, Spectrum is to install their CAPRIS 100 product in the USA for Bell Helicopters and a further CAPRIS 100 system for Boeing.

Spectrum has continued to expand its marketplace and has won new contracts to supply its recently launched CAPRIS 50, the first "on-the-fly" solid state UV laser wire marker in the world, to companies in Italy, Switzerland, South Africa and Holland.

Other contracts announced include upgrades for existing systems for Sikorsky in the USA and its first major contract from GKN Westland in the UK for Spectrum's in-house Job Shop.
