Courtaulds Aerospace (CAe) have recently received another supplier award from one of the world's leading OEMs.

British Aerospace presented CAe with the Best Materials Supplier award following a ballot of British Aerospace personnel and 70 other suppliers, some of whom were competitors, at the recent British Aerospace Airbus Suppliers Conference. The award is presented to the supplier who had significantly improved their operations since the previous conference, two years earlier.

This is not the first award CAe have won from British Aerospace. Last year they were presented with the Preferred Supplier Process (PSP), Bronze Award. This was in recognition of CAe reaching the rigorous supplier performance criteria demanded by the British Aerospace PSP for military aircraft. Performance measures including process control, schedule adherence, responsiveness and right-first-time quality were all recognised as part of CAe's success.
