Dunlop Precision Rubber has invested £ 1.0 million in a major expansion of production facilities on its Shepshed site to meet increased customer demand. The main feature is an 8,000sq.ft extension to the existing Aircraft Seals building together with special storage facilities (Plate 11).

The new building will allow the layout of the existing facility to be improved and provide increased space in the main production area, where a significant investment has been made in new plant and equipment. This includes a large new vulcanising/cooling press, three purpose-designed moulding presses and a 3-metre long special "C" frame press.
