A range of subminiature indicator lamps, available in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and white, has been introduced by Oxley Developments for applications where panel space is limited, such as portable instruments, cockpit/crew station indicators and control consoles. Designated the MIL50 range, the lamps are available with either standard or high brightness LEDs, which are incorporated within a 6.0mm (0.236in) diameter, low-profile package.

Available in an aluminium alloy or black anodised body with a black anodised shroud, styles include diffused or neutral density sunlight readable lens, electrostatic screening and NVG compatible. Customised models with optional flying leads or tag terminations, and integral resistors for 5-28Vdc operation, can be specified.

The lamps can be released to DEF STAN 59-61 and are sealed to BS 5490 IP67. Electrical screening and burn-in are 100 per cent , ensuring high reliability. Operating/storage temperature range is 40°C to +100°C.
