UPS inform us that it will provide new financial and management resources to its II Morrow subsidiary in an effort to increase the firm's presence within the aviation technology industry.

UPS Airlines' president Tom Weidemeyer told members of the Aircraft Electronics Association recently that UPS will rename the Salem, Oreg., avionics design and manufacturing company UPS Aviation Technologies reflecting LTPS' strategy of investment in enterprises that enhance global commerce.

II Morrow (pronounced Two Morrow), best known for its Apollo line of Loran and satellite-based navigation and VHF communications systems for light aircraft, has, more recently, developed a variety of advanced navigation and surveillance tools for airline and air traffic control use.
