Gas turbine disc manufacturer UEF Aerospace has completed its new divisional management team with the appointment of Mark Jezoiro as technical director. Formerly external laboratory manager with Rolls-Royce Aero Engines in Derby, he holds a PhD in Laser Welding and cutting of titanium alloy, an MSc in Welding Technology and Management and a BSc in Metallurgy.
Since UEF Limited was formed in 1997, the Lincoln-based Aerospace division has been putting a team together to take its disc manufacturing operations into new market sectors and diversify its product range.
The team is led by divisional managing director David Waring, formerly British Aerospace's director of manufacturing for the Airbus division. Mark Bolton is commercial director, having joined UEF from Meggitt plc where he was general sales manager for aerospace components.
Operations director Chris Thomas was also formerly with Rolls-Royce Aero Engines, and human resources manager Andrea Wright joined the team from Avesta Steel in Sheffield.
