Brookhouse Holdings plc has appointed John Banks to the newly created position of IT co-ordinator, responsible for organising and collating all IT activities and systems within the Brookhouse group of companies.

In his new position, John will be involved with ensuring that all computer management systems meet the existing and future needs of the Brookhouse companies and with customising proprietary business management systems to meet the particular requirements of Brookhouse's operations and markets.

This responsibility will include tailoring programmes such as works ordering, sales ordering, inventory and work-in-progress tracking, as well as developing special modules such as report writing, guaranteeing Y2K compliance and investigating the possibilities of creating a Wide Area Network, linking the Brookhouse operational sites in Darwen, Tameside and Huntingdon.
