Designed particularly for combating corrosion to metal products, the Never-Seez range of anti-seize and lubricating products is available from Bostik (Plate 10). Never-Seez has, we are told, been proven an effective anti-seize compound in extremities of temperature ranging from –180C to +1,200. Containing finely divided metal carbons in a special hydrocarbon carrier, Never-Seez works by sealing and protecting parts from pressure and rust, as well as under extreme heat and contamination conditions. It is particularly recommended for use where applications prohibit the presence of copper, especially where resistance to corrosive acidic and caustic solutions is required.

Kevin Matthews, market development manager at Bostik, explains: "Never-Seez not only helps in the sealing and protection of metal parts, it extends a whole range of benefits to the user. Primarily, the lubrication properties reduce maintenance stripdown times while the sealant properties ensure increased in-service periods".

The range of anti-seize products from Bostik has been developed in two grades: standard and pure nickel special grade. Never-Seez is available in two application options: aerosol or paint.
