One of the UK's leading providers of maintenance engineers for the aviation industry, Qualitair Engineering Services Limited (Qualitair), based in Newmarket, Suffolk has announced the creation of a new division, Qualitair Design Services (QDS).
Headed by David Thornhill (Plate 7), who has over 20 years' experience in aerospace design, QDS will specialise in providing the airline industry with skilled design engineers on a contract basis.

The new division represents a major strategic development for Qualitair, which for the last 31 years has provided contract maintenance engineers around the world.
One of David's first tasks has been to compile a database of experienced design engineers, many of whom David knows personally through working with them on many projects worldwide. This gives clients access to every aspect of aircraft design, from project planning through to production and modification.
