KLM uk Engineering Limited reports that it has successfully obtained the Tl/T2 approval issued by the UK CAA. This is believed to be the first award of its kind to be presented in the UK. The award, which relates to the Fokker 50 type aircraft, allows the company to offer a full range of training in association with the JAR 147 aircraft maintenance regulatory standard currently being introduced across Europe.

The award was formally presented to KLM uk Engineering by Mr Jim McKenna, head of licensing at the Civil Aviation Authority.
