Hartzell Propeller Inc. informs us that the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee in Russia has issued a new Type Certificate (TC) for Hartzell's Compact Series, 76-inch diameter, three-bladed propeller systems for installation on the Avia Accord-201 aircraft.

Type Certificate number CT 186-BB is the third approval that Hartzell has received from the Aviation Register for props used on Russian-built aircraft since 1994. Additional type certificates have been obtained for the two-bladed prop for the Ilyushin IL-103 and the five-bladed props for the Antonov AN-38.

Powered by 210hp Teledyne Continental Motors (TCM) 10-360-ES series engines, the props are said to offer constant-speed and feathering capabilities and are fully deiced. The propellers feature a 4.25 inch extended hub, allowing for the aircraft engine cowling to be more streamlined. Similar Hartzell propellers have also been used on TCM 360 series engines for Hartzell's Top Prop Seneca 111 conversions.
