UK aero-engine and aircraft test facility specialist, IAC, has launched a brand new Web site – www.iacl.co.uk – at which customers, such as airlines, engine manufacturers, overhaul agents and military specifiers can obtain fast, free (except for the cost of on-line connection) access to a useful range of project case histories. The information is clearly divided into several categories including multi-engine test facilities, hush houses, ground run-up pens, APU test cells and data acquisition systems – and many major installations are featured for clients such as British Airways, BAE Systems, American Airlines, Helikopter Service (Norway) and the Air Forces of Canada, Pakistan, Portugal and Kuwait.
In addition to project descriptions, the Web site contains sections about IAC's research and development facilities, previous clients, quality control systems, news items and recruitment opportunities both at home and abroad. Another major feature of the site is a comprehensive country-by-country guide to all of IAC's international offices and sales outlets.
