IDC reports that its Biosane range of fast-acting, cold degreasers can fully remove oily and greasy matter, inks, adhesives and soaps across a very wide range of products and substrates (Plate 5).

Typical uses are said to include cleaning off mineral and synthetic based oils, temporary protection oils, including those on as-delivered parts. Other uses range from cleaning engines to removing adhesives on delicate electronic components.

There are 18 products in the range, allowing users to chose from rapid or slow evaporation times, solvent power or flash point.

According to IDC, many of its Biosane products can be used in open tanks, with most pollutants sinking to the bottom of the tank, so ensuring that parts emerge thoroughly clean.
