Management consultancy to the aerospace industry, Bourton Group, has launched its new Web site with over 600 content-rich pages full of management advice and "how-to" presentations (www.bourton.co.uk).

Bourton Group directors James Bentley and Stuart Smith pioneered the development, which is designed to help businesses undergoing change or wanting to know more about contemporary tools and techniques.

Bentley told us of the consultancy's commitment to a new level of Internet-based knowledge-sharing: "We already give clients free advice and diagnosis as we prepare for a major programme of change", he says, "and putting our methodologies on the Web is a natural extension.

"Our experience confirms how valuable clients find this comprehensive, practical and accessible guide to tackling the real issues facing management. Clients can browse through our approaches on, say, culture change or kaizen, check out case studies and see how it all fits together" (www.bourton.co.uk/typical-projects.html).

We understand that the Bourton Group is happy for anyone to download material from the site. The main pages on the site are HTML, but the company has provided PDF files so that entire presentations can be downloaded and easily printed. It has also provided an easy-to-use search facility that includes links to pages on SMED, ego States, Ishikawa diagrams and other specialist management topics" (WWW.bourton.co.uk/a-to-z.html).
