Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) has become the latest customer for the Rolls-Royce Trent engine family when it recently announced the selection of Trent 772B engines to power Its new Airbus Industrie A330-300 aircraft fleet. The SAS order is for four firm aircraft and additional options.
The potential value of the order to Rolls-Royce is around $200 million, with the aircraft entering service in August 2002.
