The aerospace coatings business unit of the Sherwin-Williams Company is introducing a line of paint aftercare products. The Jet Glo™ Complete Care™ line of high quality cleaning and polishing products, designed specifically for the general aviation market, is now available from distributors.

With the dual benefit of both cleaning and enhancing aircraft coatings, Jet Glo Complete Care was specially formulated for use in conjunction with Jet Glo® and Acry Glo® aerospace coatings. Since quality, long life, and maintenance ease are so important to the performance of an aircraft, the new line is expected to serve customer needs further, said George McCarthy, director of the Aerospace Coatings Business Unit.

"The Jet Glo Complete Care line is the next logical step for the company in offering our customers one-stop shopping coatings and related supplies," McCarthy said. "For our Jet Glo customers, this new product will go a long way in expanding the life and durability of the painted aircraft."

Jet Glo is described as the premium aerospace coating for overall base application on medium and large aircraft. Acry Glo is described as a high quality aerospace coating generally used for overall base application on smaller aircraft, and feature striping on larger aircraft.

All these products are reported to have been proven highly successful in the often-harsh aerospace environment. In addition, they are stated to be biodegradable, and meet safety specifications for aircraft parts. Included in the line are a number of products to make care and cleaning of any aircraft safe and efficient:

  Jet Glo Complete Care Bug Remover – a formula said to be most effective in removing hardened bugs, as well as oil, grease, dirt and other stubborn substances.

  Jet Glo Complete Care Wet Wash – a wet wash aircraft cleaner that uses wetting, penetration and dispersion to remove stubborn grease, oils, stains and bugs, said to leave a lustrous, clean finish.

  Jet Glo Complete Care Dry Wash – described as an easy-to-use, effective aircraft cleaner that uses a liquid, alkaline formula designed to be both potent and safe for painted, exterior aircraft surfaces … all without water.

  Jet Glo Complete Care Polish – a polish/protectorate thought to be ideal for keeping Jet Glo and Acry Glo finishes shining brightly.

  Jet Glo Complete Care Clean Plane Kit – comes equipped with polish, bug remover, dry wash cleaner, a spray bottle, brush cleaning tool, and six terry cloth towels, all conveniently packed in a handy travel case.
