Senior Aerospace BWT launched its new, high performance, ultra strong composite air distribution ducting materials at this year's Paris Air Show. These new products, which are hybrid composites of aramid and carbon materials, have been developed for large, structural parts that reportedly can significantly increase resistance to pressure whilst offering reduced weight over traditional pre-impregnated composite materials. At the Senior Aerospace stand, BWT displayed a large sample silencer duct made to the exacting requirements of an Airbus A340 part.

The ultra-lightweight, ultra-high strength composite laminate is described as extremely strong and durable and enhances performance. In conjunction with their existing product range, BWT has the "in-house" manufacturing capability to meet the technical requirements of any project requiring low pressure air distribution ducting.
