A new 20,000 square metre aero repair and overhaul facility has been opened at Singapore's Changi Airport.

Singapore Aero Engine Service Ltd (SAEL) will specialise in the maintenance of Rolls- Royce Trent Engines and is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL), and Rolls-Royce. SAESL will initially be responsible for maintaining Sigapore Airline's fleet of Trent 800 engines, powering its Boeing 777s, but will also serve the growing number of Trent customers in Australiasia, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
