The Series III claims maximum resistance to vibration, shock and to also to provide effective EMI shielding (Plate 2). The positive metal to metal coupling design, superior interfacial seat and cadmium over nickel plating is said to provide excellent moisture and corrosion resistance. In addition, a single 360° turn of the coupling nut ensures quick mating and self-locking.
