The National Air Traffic Service (NATS) has contracted Evans Consoles to supply visual control room (VCR) furniture for the newly upgraded Farnborough Airport.
Though Evans Consoles is based in Calgary, the Farnborough contract has been placed with the Canadian company’s newly strengthened European arm. This is now UK-driven by European sales director, Alan Drinkwater.
The order is viewed by Drinkwater as a “strategic development” in Evans Consoles’ European growth. “Not only has this contract come at an historic point in Farnborough’s development, he says, but it follows hard on the heels of a prestigious award from the US Federal Governments General Services Administration.”
