The Go-Ahead Group report that Peter O'Boyle, Chief Executive and Jack Owen, Director of Operations, have decided to leave the day-to-day business of aviance.

Peter and Jack have a long relationship with both Gatwick Airport and GHI Ground Handling. Following the successful integration of GHI with British Midland Handling Services, Midland Aviation Services and Reed Aviation, they believe that their contributions are complete and it is time to hand on the leadership of aviance to others.

Martin Ballinger, Chief Executive of the Go-Ahead Group, said: "We are truly sorry to be losing Peter and Jack at this time but we understand their motives and thank them for the valuable contribution they have made to the Ground Handling Industry over their many years service".

Richard Hunt, currently deputy chief executive, will act as chief executive. Further appointments will be announced in due course.
