Aviation Partners opt for Pacelab Performance Software
Aviation Partners opt for Pacelab Performance Software
Aviation Partners has purchased the aircraft performance software Pacelab Mission from PACE America Inc., the US subsidiary of Berlin-based PACE Aerospace Engineering and Information Technology. Aviation Partners will employ the program in engineering and commercial marketing for quantifying the significant aerodynamic benefits achieved by equipping aircraft wings with Aviation Partners' patented blended winglets.
Pacelab Mission enables engineers at Aviation Partners to calculate a great number of elaborate flight scenarios and to conduct comparative studies of the performance improvements to be gained. Customer- specific inquiries, e.g. concerning take-off weights, range and payloads and other crucial characteristics for departures in hot climate or from high elevation airfields can thus be addressed more rapidly and with greater flexibility and accuracy. Pacelab Mission is an aircraft performance engineering tool developed by PACE for the assessment of aircraft and engine performance and for the optimization of flight profiles. It is said to be suitable for aircraft, engine and components manufacturers as well as for airlines. The tool features the complementary module PacelabTM SCAP which provides a standardized interface to aircraft manufacturers' standard computerized aircraft performance (SCAP) modules.
