Time saving heat shrinkable solder termination sleeves
Heat shrinkable solder termination sleeves – newly introduced by Siegrist-Orel Limited – are said to save valuable time and allow trouble-free precision soldering in virtually any location.
Demanding far less skill than conventional soldering techniques, the sleeves are manufactured from a polyvinylidene fluoride outer with a pre-mounted solder pre-form inner ring.
Designed for securely terminating wire and cable with tin coated or silver plated shields, the new Siegrist products conform to MIL-DTL-23058/8 pre-fluxed (SRMAP or RMA per QQ-S-571) solder pre-form and meltable inserts.
The solder termination sleeves are designed for use with hot air, convection heatguns – also available from the company.
