Head of Engineering appointed
Dunlop Aerospace of Coventry, UK, has appointed David Bailey as the head of Engineering at its Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems (DABS) business unit (Plate 2). David holds a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MSc (Eng) in Control Systems. Before his present appointment, he was the Engineering Technologies manager responsible for the company's electric brake development programme.

David joined Dunlop Aerospace from Coventry University where he was a senior lecturer in Aerospace Systems. Before that he had worked in the aerospace industry as a systems engineer involved in the research and development of advanced flight control actuators.
