For those occasions when additional cleaning capacity is urgently required or cover is needed during maintenance, USF Surface Preparation has a number of blast rooms available for hire (Plate 3).

Plate 3 USF Surface Preparation has blast rooms for hire

Capable of operating with most types of media and meeting a range of surface preparation requirements, two room sizes are available: 4 m × 3 m × 3 m and 3 m × 3 m × 3 m. The blast rooms are supplied complete with: a sweep-in vacuum media recovery, cleaning and recycling system; filter unit; full width access doors; high level lighting; rubber lined walls and ventilation.

They are fully self contained with the blast cleaning machine and other services located in a special compartment at one end, accessed by a separate external side-door. They can be located direct to any level floor without the need for civil engineering work and can be up and running within minutes. All the user need to do is charge the blast machine with media, and connect to a suitable compressed air and electricity supply.
