Two new odourless cold degreasers have been added to IDC's Biosane range of DSP products. They provide a simple solution to concerns about smells in the atmosphere, particularly where good ventilation is problematic, where large number of people are working or for those whose skin is sensitive to hydrocarbons in the atmosphere.

According to the manufacturers Biosane DSP products can be used to remove oily/greasy pollutants in a wide variety of applications, including degreasing machineable parts and electrical components. Depending on the flash point of the individual product, evaporation times range from 5 to 60 min – the lower the flash point, the faster evaporation.

Like other Biosane degreasers, the DSP range are said to contain no chlorinated compounds and can be used in open tanks on most substrates, including many plastics. Pollutants also sink to the bottom of the tank, so ensuring that parts emerge thoroughly clean.
