STG Aerospace reports that it is on a roll as sales of its SafTGlo product continue to soar. The company has just secured their second order with Alaska Airlines, worth nearly $200,000. The total order value could exceed $750,000.

This current order is for (20) B737-700 and (10) B737-900 aircraft. Alaska Airlines is aiming to retrofit its entire fleet of over 100 aircraft with SafTGlo. The first order covered its (9) Boeing 737-200 aircraft.

Gary Girard, President of STG Aerospace Inc., who won the order, said: “Installing SafTGlo instead of traditional electrical safety systems eliminates one of the top three reasons for departure delay and will boost profitability for Alaska Airlines.”

STG Aerospace recently celebrated winning two Queen's Awards for Enterprise – the Queen's Award for Innovation and the Queen's Award for International Trade – one of only four companies in the whole of the UK to be presented with two awards this year. The Queen's Awards are given annually and recognise outstanding achievement in the areas of international trade, innovation and sustainable development. They are the most prestigious accolades that a British company can receive.
