Head of Engineering

Mark Hancock has been appointed the Head of Engineering at Dunlop Aerospace Polymers & Composites (DAPC) which manufactures elastomeric seals and components as well as ice protection systems and composite structures in two plants in Coventry and Shepshed, UK.

A graduate of Coventry University, with a degree in engineering, Mark has career-long experience with Dunlop Aerospace, having joined the company as an apprentice. Previously he was engineering manager of the ice protection and composites business in Coventry.

In his new role, Mark will have the overall responsibility for all aspects of engineering at both sites. Steve Salt, Director of the DAPC Business unit commented: “I his appointment reflects our drive to ensure that all aspects of the business process continue to be focussed squarely on customer service. Mark will work closely with the marketing and business development functions and will be a key player in supporting new programme bids. He will also lead the development of new technology and methods to meet the current and future needs of Dunlop Aerospace customers.”
