New Journal for New Zealand Studies

Later this year the Stout Research Centre of Victoria University of Wellington will begin publishing a new journal devoted to New Zealand studies. Kotare: New Zealand Notes and Queries will provide an avenue for brief scholarly articles on a range of New Zealand subjects history, literature, bibliography, lexicography, language and culture and will encourage the publication of manuscript material buried in archives around the country. The journal will be published twice a year, in March and September, and will be available by subscription. Enquiries about individual or institutional subscriptions should be directed to: Mr Peter Whiteford, Editor, Kotare: NZ Notes and Queries, Stout Research Centre, Victoria University of Wellington, PO Box 600, Wellington, New Zealand. E-mail: peter.whiteford@vuw.ac.nz

Contributions are now invited for the first and subsequent issues. An information sheet detailing requirement s for the submission of material will soon be available from the Editor. Potential reviewers are welcome to send short CVs to indicate their interests.
