Call for book reviews

The Bottom Line: Managing Library Finances is looking for reviewers for new books in library and financial management for future issues. Anyone interested should e-mail "book review" Editor, Kay Cassell at kcassell@nypl.org at Programs and Services for Branch Libraries, the New York Public Library. Broadly, the assigned reviews will be from the following, core topical areas:

  • budgeting;

  • economic and funding trends;

  • endowments;

  • leasing;

  • outsourcing.

  • insurance;

  • grant and proposal writing;

  • resource allocation;

  • cost analysis;

  • technological innovation.

The book review editors can further delineate the suggested style, the length and procedures for submission. Both practitioners and researchers are encouraged to apply.
