The bad: Kay K. Runge

As exciting as it was to receive Vol. 15 No. 4 (2002), our special issue on "The finance of public libraries", it was troubling to note an enormous error in the omission of Kay K. Runge's name from the cover. As John pointed out, Kay worked on this issue long and hard, and she should have received full, cover-page praise as well. We hope our readers, and Kay, will accept our apology in this most inappropriate in errors.

The great: Robert R. Newlen

As many of you know, a member of our Editorial Advisory Board and journal contributor, Robert R. Newlen, is running for the position of President of the American Library Association.
