Since 2000, Gail Munde has been the Associate Dean of Libraries at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA and is responsible for budget, facilities, and human resources functions. She has worked in academic libraries for 18 years, and has been associate director of Joyner Library at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina; she was a film and video librarian at the University of Kansas, taught library science courses at the University of South Carolina and East Carolina University, and served as media arts consultant to the South Carolina Arts Commission. She has a PhD in Library Science from the University of North Texas.
