Litton CEO to keynote IPC Printed Circuits Expo '99

The future of the electronics industry is the focus for the keynote address at IPC Printed Circuits Expo '99. Michael Brown, president and CEO of Litton Industries, Inc., will address twenty-first century issues for the printed circuit industry when he delivers the keynote presentation, "Practices for the new Millennium" , at IPC Printed Circuits Expo '99.

"As the head of Litton, which is an OEM, manufacturer and supplier to the printed circuit industry, Michael Brown will give senior management's view of the practices companies will need to adopt to succeed in our industry into the next millennium", says IPC president Thomas Dammrich.

Brown is president and chief executive officer of Litton and serves as a member of the board of directors. He was elected chief executive officer in March 1998 following a 30-year career with the company that began in its defence electronics divisions and spanned positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and operations. He has served as president since 1995, and was chief operating officer from 1995-1998. Litton is a $4.4 billion company focused on commercial and defence electronics, information.
