New vice president to head Morton's European expansion

Photo-chemicals giant, Morton Electronic Materials, has promoted global sales and marketing specialist Robert Linsdell to head its European operations (Plate 1).

Recently returned from three years in the Far East where, as manager of sales and marketing, Asia, he was a major architect of the Nichigo-Morton joint venture, creating Japan's third largest photoresist supplier.

Promoted to vice president, Linsdell is now leading MEM's expansion in Europe and the Middle East.

Already well-known in the PCB industry he is a board member of the EIPC and of the PCIF in the UK.

From the MEM European headquarters in Warrington, UK, Linsdell, 42, will direct sales operations in the UK, Germany, Italy, France and the Benelux countries and, through the distributor network, sales into the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Robert Linsdell has been with Morton for 15 years, starting with the company as a UK technical sales representative, and has held a number of senior positions world-wide, acquiring a deep understanding of the PCB industry.
