PCB supplier and contract manufacturer Speedboard Ltd have announced the appointment of Len West as a new business sales manager. The appointment is designed to complement and enhance Speedboard's existing services and personnel.

Len has 30 years' experience in the PCB industry, 17 of which have been in sales and marketing. He has joined Speedboard from Eurocir, a Spanish company whose UK operation he set up and where he worked as commercial director for seven years. Len will be responsible for developing new business areas for Speedboard, and brings with him a large number of pan-European industry contacts.

The new appointment is in line with the company's new phase of strategic corporate expansion that saw the opening of a high volume PCB plant in January 1998 and the acquisition of contract assembler J & S Manufacturing Services in July 1998.
