Probot has announced the release of a new Test Management Software (TMS) product to support their moving probe test systems. The new software eliminates the need to return to front-end processing for functions such as changing the orientation of a board and deleting and offsetting test points. Changes of this type are accomplished very quickly in Test Management Software often in just a few seconds compared to reprocessing the entire job in the original test generating program. Other advantages offered by TMS are that it can be installed offline to increase tester productivity, and in shops with more than one test system, the data can be manipulated offline just once, then copied to multiple testers as needed.
