First, there was the Lo-Flo followed by the Hi-Flo; now Serfilco are proud to announce the arrival of the new Mega-Flo Filter System. Flow rates up to 65m3/hr can be achieved through this truly large-scale filter housing, more than doubling in size the previous Guardian style chambers.

The Mega-Flo accommodates 26 columns of filter cartridges either 20in. or 30in. lengths.

A choice of elements; including diamond wound, polyspun and polyserf pleated are available, depending on individual customer requirements. Selection criteria can be determined and the most economical, effective and efficient filter media can be recommended.

This high capacity filter chamber can extend intervals between cartridge changing to levels previously not possible without doubling up of filter chambers to increase the dirt holding capacity.

The most important factor affecting optimum filtration remains the high flow rate. The 65m3/hr from a single pump and chamber unit enables users to maximise tank turnover rates to the highest achievable levels. The benefits to the user are many, including improved quality finish, with minimum reject levels. Also, a reduction in chemical consumption can be expected by maintaining the solution make-up for longer periods.

The all-plastic filter chambers construction provides non-metallic solution contact and complete chemical corrosion resistance. The filter chamber is coupled to a choice of heavy duty hi-flo pumps, either: the 3in. Sealless Magnetic pump with run-dry protection, fitted as standard, or the 4in. x 3in. double water flush seal centrifugal pump. These pumps provide the drive unit to generate filter system flow rates to 65m3/hr (over 14,000GPH) and maximum 32m Head (over 45psi).
