Sigma Holmstrands AB, located in Gothenburg/Askim, together with a group of renowned European and American specialists in the PWB/Interconnect industry, have acquired the activities of the Swedish based Holmstrands Automation AB and formed Sigma Holmstrands AB. The new owners' objective will be to provide the PWB industry, now and in the future, with advanced equipment/process technologies developed and patented by them. The new owners resume work at Valberg on ail pending orders with immediate effect.

Sigma Holmstrands AB will provide the printed circuit industry (PWB) world-wide with vertical and horizontal processing equipment for mechanical and chemical surface preparation. metal deposition, metal conversion, application of electrophoretic photoresists for imaging purposes, stripping as well as other relevant processes. Holmstrands is know for its "high end" automation technology and its world class quality. The company will also in the future manufacture advanced cleaning equipment.

Sigma Engineering AB is the owner of Sigma Metallextraktion AB which is a specialist company for providing the well known MECER process "closed-loop" recycling of chemicals and copper recovery from Alkaline etchants to the same industry.
