Excellon Automation Co. is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Howard to global accounts manager.

Dave's key responsibility are to coordinate the efforts of the organization to better serve Excellon's global accounts customers, those companies with multiple sites throughout the globe.

Born and raised in Southern England, Dave Howard joined Excellon in 1978 as manufacturing manager for the UK division. He transferred to Torrance, California in 1981 as a manufacturing engineer, was promoted to manufacturing engineering manager and then to director of manufacturing, a position which he held for nine years. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process in Torrance. In 1992, he transferred to sales and marketing as director of Pacific Rim sales, opening business in Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Singapore. In 1995, he joined AMTECH, the material handling division of Excellon, as general manager.

Dave Howard has many strengths which will serve Excellon well in his new position. Key is the combination of his European heritage followed by 23 years living in the USA. Dave also has extensive experience with the Asian customer base.
